I’m happy with it. That was the closest tune seeing as how this pipe is about the same length as the m4 but I’m happy with it. It makes great power. I might have them retune it just for fun since it’s free and cut the injectors on decel cuz maybe I’m weird but I like a little pop and the occasional flame out of my exhaust. I get none of that now with this tune so it’s doing it’s job

Here is a documentary about the guys in st.louis where the event is held. It’s a different vibe down there. And this even is negotiated with the local police and they escort us so that we can stunt and get a little wild. The people in St. Louis are used to this and love it. We were getting filmed the whole time. But Steve and the guys are awesome down there. It’s like family when you go down to ride with them. Even if you don’t stunt it’s still fun to go and watch and ride with the guys. We had several Harley’s in the group Just to watch and some stunt their Harleys too. It’s not for everyone but it’s worth a try even if it’s just once to experience it.

Here is a pic from the event if it give you any idea of how that whole day went lol and I’ll try to get a video of the exhaust even though the camera never does it any justice as to how deep the tone is and just how loud it really is

Sorry guys I haven’t logged on here since the site went through the change and we had to reset our passwords so I wasn’t getting any notifications until I got a message and it went to my email. And as for the trip it was the most fun I’ve had on a bike ever lol. Police escort and free range to stunt and do whatever we wanted for one whole day. And I trailered it down for the event, I didn’t feel like riding that much down there riding all day and then riding back home for 2 hours at 11:00pm but it got ridden plenty hard while there. Seen many wheelies. Verdict on the pipe is I love it. That sound that these bikes produce is unique and doesn’t sound like anything else on the road. It has such a mean deep tone to it and turns heads everywhere. As for quality this thing has held up great. No discoloration and bluing of the headers and the muffler looks as good as new with a whole riding season on it. So I’d say it was 150 well spent. Of course can’t complain about the 2wdw tune either. I love just cracking the throttle in first on takeoff around 10-15 mph and the front end just raising up with ease just to show off from time to time. All in all I’m happy with the bike. Sure it’s not the “fastest” bike I’ve ever owned but it’s just as fun and that’s all that matters

I have a db meter at home I'll compare the two tonight with the silencer and without

    New exhaust

Yes that's the exact one I bought. And it does come with the silencer and it does quiet it down quite a bit. I haven't ridden it with it in but I put it in and gave it a few Revs one day and it sounded more like my stock muffler with the holes drilled in it. The company ships it pretty quick and it's packaged well. Takes about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks to get it

Sounds absolutely demonic. It puts a smile on my face every time I hit that throttle, and I just giggle like a little kid lol

The tune I asked for was the one for the m4 pipe as they are similar. And I have a silencer I can bolt in to the muffler and it's at least 50% more quiet so if I wanted to go on a road trip or something I can knock the volume down easily and when I get there take it back out. I'm going to ride of the century here soon and it's about a 2 hour ride there and I will definitely have the silencer in for that trip lol.
  11. I just have never heard my fans kick on once since I've had the bike and now after 30 min of riding I noticed them coming on. Just weird to see my bike get that hot as I've never seen it before. Now my old 06 r6 would run 220-230 at stoplights on a hot day before I put hyperlube in it so I know yamahas can run kinda hot. Just thought it was out of the ordinary. I use the term "hot" but I know the temp is well within normal range
  12. Got my new exhaust installed, removed the snorkel, had 2 wheel dynoworks tune my ecu and now my bike seems to get much hotter. I had the holes drilled in the factory muffler and of course it runs lean from the factory as everyone knows. But I saw consistent 175-190 at the highest. It's never gone over 190 on a 97 degree day. Today I was riding it after installing the new ecu and I noticed at stoplights it was getting up around 200+ and I wasn't riding it anywhere near as hard as I have. As soon as I take off it cools right down with no issues but the fans actually kicked on for the first time in the 3 months I've owned the bike. Has anyone else had this issue or noticed this ?

I knew the m4 was loud lol I figured this was too. But all of my bikes have been loud and my Harley was straight piped. I
  14. Decided to bite the bullet and try a cheap exhaust system from china. I wanted a new exhaust because the stock one just wasn't doing it for me, even with the holes drilled in it. But I also didn't want to spend 4-800 on a setup either and really liked the idea of the m4 with the shorty muffler and lower price tag. But I didn't like the idea of the bronze colored headers and the. The bright stainless m4 pipe. But the. I found exhaust systems on aliexpress that were dirt cheap and full systems. So I spent 99.00 on this setup and 59.00 for shipping for full laser welded stainless headers and a carbon fiber muffler with removable insert. I gotta say it looks great. It's small and fits under there well, feels sturdy and I now have the ability to buy any slip on muffler I want and just slide it on there if I want to change my setup. Long story short if anyone is looking for a super cheap setup this is the way to go instead of the m4. Now I just have to wait until tomorrow when my ecu gets back from 2 wheel dynoworks to hear this thing run lol

new member figured id show off

Ya I hope the tire penz last longer. I have to redo mine every week to keep them bright white. It's an hour long process to touch them up and about 3 hours the first time. But it looks sooo good. It would be great if they didn't discolor thought
