I'm routinely seeing 68-72 MPG w/o trying very hard and most of it on 2ndary roads (but very little stop-go). I've not pressed my luck, but 200 miles on a tank is well easy enough for me. I get out of 1st and 2nd gear as fast as the hills and traffic allow most of the time and do most of my riding at 4.5-7k RPM in 3rd thru 5th gear.

Remember we have IMP MPGs and US MPG.
66 MPG IMP = 55 US MPG.

I can get an average of about 60-70MPG US if I'm careful (with sprocket mod), but 60-70MPG IMP is easily gotten.

r1limited feels the same way, and made a lecture some time back towards another member. Hence I found it amusing that it was him who made the error now 😁 (Yes, I am easily amused ;) )

Everyone is wrong, wrong wrong wrong
