Free track days for Yamaha sportbikes (FZ07 included)

Anyone here taken advantage of this offer from Yamaha?
I found that Yamaha is offering free track days to buyers of new Yamaha sportbikes (R1, R6, R3, FZ07, FZ09, and FZ6R). The free track day offer is from March 2016 through the end of 2017.  I presume New bike purchases have to be within those dates but I wonder if Yamaha wants proof of purchase or maybe they have dealer records to tell them who bought what when.
Sportbike Track Time events vary in price from $180/day to $245/day so that's a nice perk from Yamaha (WAY better than a free Kawasaki Jacket).
