jbone Posted July 22, 2017 Share Posted July 22, 2017 When I took my panel off to install my flasher relay, I want to say I remember seeing a couple of simple plastic clips holding the vents in. If you are speaking of the actual black plastic cowl that the vents are connected to, I think those are connected to the larger tank panel with small allen head fasteners. I'm not 100 percent sure, but it's a quick job to get the panels off to look for yourself. This youtube video is an install video for the flasher relay, but it shows how to pop those tank panels off in a hurry to get you access to the side vents.
