Global Moderator Guru Posted October 27, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted October 27, 2014 Any insight on these? Can they be mounted so the mirrors are "underneath" the grips? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008ZX482K/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A82XG4DR30PH7 Apparently a customer posted this picture on amazon.com https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33459059/61-gCnDO-EL._SL256_.jpg I don't think I like them. They look awkward sticking out like that. btw, your avatar creeps me out.

Good catch! I clearly didn't look closely at these specific mirrors. My comment about flipping them so the mirrors were below the bars was just general in nature, provided they can be mounted in the first place! Minor little detail ha! Life is good on 2 wheels! Premium Member effzee07 Posted October 28, 2014 Premium Member Share Posted October 28, 2014 Interesting. What type of bar end mirrors are compatible with our bike? I've never had bar end mirrors, nor installed any so I'm not familiar with how they attach really. Minor little detail ha! Not looked on the 07 but on every other bike I have looked at the thread is in a nut that sit's in the back of a rubber insert in the bars, once you remove the bar weights you can then screw the screw back in and if you lucky work the rubber and nut out but if it won't come out if you push on the screw you can force the nut out the back of the rubber this lets it contract a little and you should then be able to get it out, don't unscrew the screw until the bung is out or the nut will be rolling round in the bars and if you don't get the rubber out you won't be able to work the nut back in place and refit the weight. Will the magnets work considering most of our tank is covered by plastic bodywork?

SoCal1904
Found this guy Chris Reese on ebay who makes and sells customized parts for the fz07 at a great price. I recently purchased his fender eliminator for $45.00. Thats the cheapest ive found so far and he backs it with a lifetime warranty. Its super durable too and looks nice. He also sells them with led turn signals and license plate lights for a little more. I skipped the turn signals but got the plate light later on in a seperate order for $15.00. All with free shipping. Just thought id share the deal since hes trying to gain business and hes really good about customer service and will help with anything you need. heres the link to his ebay store: Customizedbikeparts EBAY link to fb page to see customers pictures: Customizedbikeparts Facebook
