Trackside Rear Paddock Stand FZ-07

Recommended Posts

Over the past weekend I purchased the Trackside rear paddock stand/swing arm stand from CycleGear and I wanted to share some feedback and pictures. CycleGear claims that the stand retails for $99.00 but you will typically find it on sale for $49.00 but it just so happened that they were running an additional sale so I got it for $39.00. The main reason was to easily and safely tighten my chain slack so although I like the R&G axle sliders they would not have done me any good because I need access to the axle nut. The stand comes in 3 main pieces and you have to assemble it. took about 5 minutes and was very solid and the finish was very nice. I was actually impressed with the overall quality and value. The fir was like a glove, lucked out on that. If it was any narrower I would have had to return it, it's almost like it was made specifically for the FZ-07. It also includes the support brackets for spools. It raises and lowers easily not sketchy and no sudden snaps or jerks. It's no Pitbull but it's certainly no Chihuahua! I like to think of it as a big, friendly, loyal Labrador! Enjoy!!! pH3FC1175D-51E7-4265-AFCE-7D53F58FEBF3.jpg4B49DF73-B26B-4C7E-AC58-9F1001292D03.jpg886CBD86-CEE3-4AAF-AB19-1B549110E26A.jpg60981FC2-7A54-4E11-9EFD-217B0B84A610.jpg75855C1E-53FC-415D-945B-4DB68812342F.jpgED0E09FA-8431-45DC-B6E3-53AB7D80A925.jpg2243FEB9-6AE1-4F63-9E6E-A9F82F3D7C30.jpg

Does the stand work with spools? I believe i read somewhere that it was too narrow to work with axle spools?

Hi magsz18, no unfortunately it is to narrow for spools. If you take a look at pic[HASH]2 you will see that the support brackets are maxed out to their widest setting.
