Clutch/brake lever positioning?

Recommended Posts

botbullet0
I've adjusted my front brake lever so that my hand is in line from my shoulder, but I haven't moved the clutch yet. I've noticed that the side mirror stalks come out at different angles and it seems like if I move my clutch lever down to match my brake lever, the mirrors will be angled differently. It's almost like the brake lever was designed to be lower than the clutch lever. Is this normal?

Set the levers so they feel right, then adjust the mirrors.... don't worry about how their "set" from the factory.

Yes many bikes are like that, not even noticed it on the MT but very noticeable on my last bike.
