Must have cheap/free mods?

I used to own a Miata, and there were tons of simple mods that were either free or cheap that a lot of owners suggested. Are there any mods like that for our bikes? Doesn't have to be a must do, but just cool things to do for cheap. I'm already planning on a fender eliminator which might be considered cheap enough (the $50 kit on here).

Try this DIY Radiator Guard

P1: Vice? I have no vice, I'm as pure as the driven snow!
P2: Yeah but you've been drifting

Remove the *^#*^$ing warning sticker from the tank.

This gives at least a 5 HP gain.

I second the radiator guard and blackout. Also, add some reflective wheel tape for cheap ($10) and remove the front reflectors. Use blue loctite and correct torque on the caliper bolts while reinstalling

If you do not do a fender eliminator you can at least remove the metal license plate bracket and bolt it to the plastic fender. Also replacing the license plate light and aux light with LED's is just a few bucks and easy.

If you ride at night regularly and value seeing and being seen, I would consider the Cyclops LED at $65 to be a real bargain.

Many riders found the shift pedal too low and raised it to make it easier to shift.  I believe there is a thread under tech tips on this procedure if you need help, it is a very simple fix.  It may even be mentioned in the owners manual.

You can also place a tablet screen protector on your dash screen. Its cheap and will protect against scratches.
