20vavant Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Hi all! First post here from the beautiful bluegrass state. I have owned my FZ-07 for seven weeks as of 6/1/2015. I have ridden dirtbikes for around 4 years now, but this is my first on the road bike. I have logged roughly 2,400 miles since the first day I bought it with <1. Here it is on the salesfloor! I didn't let it stay stock very long... 1) Graves Motorsports tail tidy 2) Yoshimura Carbon Full Exhaust 3) Cyclops LED Headlight (not installed at time of trip) 4) OES front slider, rear spool slider, and frame sliders (not installed at time of trip) I didn't wait very long before taking my first trip with the bike. Over a long weekend (May 15-16) a buddy and I decided to load up our bikes and take a trip down to Knoxville, TN. Before anyone gives me crap, the Kawasaki Ninja riding jacket was given to me by a friend for free.... (rofl) The first day we got there the weather was beautiful, low 70s and very sunny. We rode for a few hours on US 129 east of Knoxville. The second day the weather was even better and we decided to wake up earlier and ride a little bit longer. Rode all the way down US 129 on the 'tail of the dragon' and went past Deal's Gap onto Fontana Dam These awesome picture were taken by US129Photos.com. Rode to Fontana Dam Great trip on a great bike! You should grab US421 south near Frankfurt/Lex and ride it all the way to Mountain City Tn. Its a fantastic road. You'll find motorcycle camping at Switchback Creek Campground in Shady Valley TN.
