Premium Member djdiddles Posted May 16, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 16, 2015 Hey all, I had an idea while I was at work. We have a powder coating area for some of the parts our company makes, and was wondering if I powder coated my rims, would it mess up the balance or have any adverse effects? [span] I thought about since I have a white FZ07, I could powder coat them Pearl White with red on the outside of the rim. kind of like this but with white instead of black for the whole of the rim. *i know that is just rim tape in the photo but figured it would be awesome Powder Coated on* [/span]
wojo72
Tag - I was thinking about this too because the blurple rims seem to chip very easily.
DFDFF
I would guess there would be no issues.
Premium Member so1102 Posted May 16, 2015 Premium Member Share Posted May 16, 2015 It would not negatively affect performance, but while the white would look pretty cool I imagine it would show grime and brake dust quite spectacularly.
